El Arisaka Side Scout Mount (SSM) está diseñado para su uso con luces Surefire Scout, Modlite PLH y OKW, así como con las series Arisaka 300, 600 y 18650, y las luces Streamlight Protac Rail Mount. Este soporte reemplaza el adaptador de riel Picatinny estándar por un montaje de perfil bajo para guardamanos M-Lok, y coloca la luz debajo de cualquiera de los láseres/iluminadores de la serie ATPIAL, incluyendo el ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ15 y LA-5/PEQ. También permite que la luz se desplace por encima del lever QD en los Steiner DBAL I2, A3 y D2.

Las luces Scout de base más larga como el M620, M951/2 y M961/2 se pueden usar con el Side Scout Mount añadiendo nuestro adaptador Offset M620. Además, el Side Scout Mount funciona perfectamente en los guardamanos M-Lok del Sig MPX PCC y MCX Virtus.

El soporte está fabricado en CNC a partir de aluminio 6061-T651 y anodizado con un recubrimiento duro MIL-A-8625 Tipo III. Incluye los tornillos necesarios para fijar el cuerpo de la luz al soporte. Se requiere un destornillador IP20 TorxPlus para la instalación (no incluido). Para quitar el soporte Picatinny de las luces Surefire Scout, se necesita un destornillador T9 Torx. Se recomienda un par de apriete de 30 pulgadas-libras para los tornillos M-Lok y 20 pulgadas-libras para los tornillos del cuerpo de la luz con un adhesivo de rosca de fuerza media.
