El uso más importante de un cartridge case gage es para configurar los dies de redimensionado de longitud completa tipo prensa de 7⁄8″-14. Un error común al recargar es sobredimensionar tu brass. Con esta herramienta y un calibrador, puedes medir rápidamente y con precisión el headspace de los cartuchos disparados.
Estilos disponibles
Estilo Regular: Este gage de una sola pieza verificará la longitud total para indicar la necesidad de recorte y el datum a la longitud de la cabeza para asegurar un headspace correcto y prevenir el sobredimensionado.
Estilo Ajustable: Diseñado para cartuchos de belted mags. Aunque el cinturón proporciona soporte para un headspace adecuado, la vida del cartucho se acortará drásticamente a menos que el redimensionado se mantenga al mínimo en el hombro.
