Bei der Verwendung auf den seitlichen Montageflächen von Picatinny-Handschützern platziert die Offset-Montage das Licht in einem 45-Grad-Winkel und bringt es näher an das Schienensystem. Nach oben ausgerichtet, befindet sich die Leuchte etwa auf der 1:30- oder 10:30-Uhr-Position. Nach unten ausgerichtet, befindet sich das Licht ungefähr auf der 4:30 oder 6:30 Uhr Position.

Die Halterung ist aus 7075-T651 und 6061-T651 Aluminium CNC-gefräst und MIL-A-8625 Type III harteloxiert. Enthält die erforderlichen Schrauben zur Befestigung des Leuchtenkörpers an der Halterung. Erfordert einen T27 Torx/IP27 TorxPlus und T20 Torx/IP20 TorxPlus Treiber für die Installation (nicht enthalten). Zum Entfernen der Picatinny-Halterung von Surefire Scout Lights wird ein T9 Torx-Schraubendreher benötigt. Empfohlenes Drehmoment: 30 inch lbs für Klemmschraube und 20 inch lbs für leichte Gehäuseschrauben mit Loctite 222 oder 243.
Beschläge: Eine 10-32x1,25" Torx-Kopfschraube, zwei 8-32x5/16" Torx-Flachkopfschrauben.
