G-15 Gläser:
Die US-Luftwaffe entwickelte die spezielle G-15 Technologie in den 1950er Jahren. Durch umfangreiche Experimente mit dem Lichtspektrum wurde festgestellt, dass die Transmission von grünem und gelbem Licht bei 550 Nanometern maximiert werden konnte (die zwei Farben, die vom menschlichen Auge am besten wahrgenommen werden).
