Dieses von Hand geölte Leder zeigt deutliche Naturmerkmale und interessante Farbschattierungen innerhalb jeder einzelnen Haut. Wenn man das Leder biegt oder knickt, nimmt es eine hellere Farbe an, welche nach einiger Zeit wieder verschwindet (Pull-up Effekt). Bedingt durch die starke Fettung ist insbesondere Pull-up-Leder vom Wasserbüffel besonders witterungsbeständig. Im Lauf des Gebrauchs bildet Pull-up-Leder eine unverwechselbare, individuelle Lederpatina.
