Damit deckt das APC 42 ED unterschiedliche Anforderungen ab – von komfortabler, heller Beobachtung bis hin zu besonders starker Vergrösserung für weit entfernte Motive. Die SMARTFLOW-Stabilisierung, der KDGS-2-Gimbal und die KT-3.0-Software arbeiten zusammen, um Bewegungen auszugleichen und ein natürlich stabiles Bild zu erzeugen.
Für den flexiblen Einsatz ist das Fernglas mit einer hybriden Stromversorgung ausgestattet. Es kann mit dem mitgelieferten wiederaufladbaren AAA-Li-Ion-Akku mit USB-C-Anschluss sowie mit Alkali- oder Lithium-Batterien betrieben werden. Die Laufzeit beträgt bis zu 120 Stunden. Dank IPX7-Wasserschutz, Gasfüllung, Betriebstemperatur von –20 °C bis 55 °C und 30 Jahren Garantie ist das APC 42 ED auf lange Lebensdauer ausgelegt.
