Sandrin-Messer sind ein Fortschritt in der Wissenschaft der Klingenmaterialien und werden aus unserem patentierten polyedrischen Wolframkarbid (PTC) gefertigt, einer flexiblen Wolframkarbidsorte, die Stahl in Bezug auf die Schnitthaltigkeit übertrifft. Torino misst HRC 71 auf der Rockwell-Härteskala und behält seine rasiermesserscharfe Kante weit über Stahlmesser hinaus. Wir nennen das StaySharp Technology™. Neu für Torino ist das Rohkarbid-Finish der Klinge – ihr markantes Aussehen wird durch das Schleifen des PTC mit feinen Diamanten erreicht. Im Gegensatz zu Stahl ist die Torino-Klinge absolut rostfrei, wodurch sie sowohl für Süß- als auch für Salzwasser geeignet ist. Die Daumenrampe der Klinge weist ein sorgfältig ausgeführtes Jimping auf, während der Rest des Rückens und der Fingerkuppe für mehr Komfort abgeschrägt ist.
