Bereits im Jahr 1999 begannen wir auf Anfrage der U.S. Navy mit der Entwicklung einer hochpräzisen Militärpatrone im Kaliber 5,56 mm. Nach intensiver Entwicklungsarbeit und noch umfangreicheren Praxistests entstand daraus eine einzigartige Patrone, die von einer der leistungsfähigsten Streitkräfte der Welt eingeführt und mit großem Erfolg eingesetzt wurde.
Wie das Original erfüllt auch die neue MK262 Mod1-C für den zivilen Markt exakt die gleichen Konstruktions- und Leistungsmerkmale wie die militärische Version der U.S. Army. Die Munition ist jetzt in originalen Munitionskisten im Militärstil erhältlich und enthält 460 Patronen, verpackt in Schachteln zu jeweils 20 Schuss.
