RCBS è stata pioniera nello sviluppo dei set da 3 Dies per carabine e pistole a straight wall. Ogni set è dotato di Carbide Sizing Die che non richiede lubrificante per il bossolo per accelerare la ricalibratura. L'Expander Die espande il bossolo al diametro corretto per la palla e conferisce anche una svasatura della bocca del bossolo per facilitare l'inserimento della palla. Il Seating Die l'alloggiamento della palla inserisce quindi la palla e applica la crimpatura appropriata per la palla da caricare.
