The new PDP PRO SD model features all the characteristics and innovations that the firearms community loved and appreciated about the Walther PDP models from the start. In addition, they include a range of premium upgrades straight from the factory:
The pistol impresses with its distinctive appearance. Deep slide serrations are found both at the front and rear of the slide. This ensures that the loading process is safe in any weather. The completely redesigned grip features a pyramid-shaped texture (Performance Duty Texture) that contributes to outstanding handling. The grip backs available in various sizes (S, M, L) are also equipped with this texture. Not too sharp to cause pain during high series or to "snag" on clothing, but aggressive enough to achieve perfect grip at all times. The contoured shape at the end of the grip provides support for the little finger and aids in intuitive pointing.
All models in the PDP series have an ambidextrous slide stop lever, a reversible magazine button, and come optics ready with a milled slide top for various - optionally available - adapter plates for red dot sights from brands such as Docter, Noblex, Meopta, Trijicon, Holosun, Riton, Axion, Leupold, SIG Sauer, Vortex, or Burris Fast Fire series.
The new optics mounting platform features a modified cut-out for the mounting plate. This is 2 mm longer than before, allowing for the mounting of all currently common red dot sights. Additionally, the new equipment includes recoil lugs and larger screw cutouts. This makes it possible to use the original mounting screws from the optics manufacturers for installation.
For those who prefer to aim in the "classic" way using sights, this can be done with GLOCK-compatible sights. A co-witness sighting is possible. The standard sights are adjustable for height and windage right out of the box. Additional practical accessories can be attached to the Picatinny rail.
The Dynamic Performance trigger breaks at the pressure point like glass with a trigger weight of 22 N. The short reset allows for consistent top performance from shot to shot. Together, these features create the conditions for controlled hits and safe trigger control in any situation and from shot to shot.
The result of the perfected grip angle and the interplay of overall weight, weight distribution, and balance is excellent pointing behavior. The firearm intuitively follows the line of sight of the target eye.
The stepped chamber ensures significantly better guidance and thus less fouling of the polygonal barrel.

Following the success of the PGW Glock compensator, we have now developed a compensator for the popular Walther PDP. The PGW PDP Carry Compensator provides a noticeable reduction in recoil and muzzle rise. Ideal for sporting purposes!
The compensator works with all PDP models but requires a barrel with 1/2"x28 UNEF muzzle thread.
With its minimal weight of only 35 grams, the PGW Carry Comp ensures 100% reliable function in your PDP with standard barrel lengths, bullet weights (95-154 grains), and loads. No additional tuning parts are required.
With hand-loaded ammunition, the function with the compensator remains unaffected until the muzzle velocity falls below that of factory loads by about 15%.
The Carry Compensator is secured by clamping. Many compensator mounting systems use set screws that press on the thread and can easily cause damage. With PGW's clamping mount, no damage to the thread is possible, and a secure hold is guaranteed (even without Loctite!). This also facilitates the quick disassembly of the comp.

Das neue PDP PRO SD Modell verfügt über alle Eigenschaften und Innovationen, die die Waffenszene vom Start weg an den Walther PDP Modellen liebte und schätzte. Darüber hinaus enthalten sie eine Reihe von Premium-Upgrades direkt ab Werk:
Die Pistole besticht durch ihr markantes Äußeres. Tiefe Durchladerillen finden sich sowohl vorne als auch hinten am Verschluss. Somit bleibt der Ladevorgang bei jeder Witterung eine sichere Angelegenheit. Das völlig neu gestaltete Griffstück verfügt über eine pyramidenförmige Textur (Performance Duty Texture) und trägt sein Übriges zum herausragenden Handling bei. Die in verschiedenen Größen (S, M, L) erhältlichen Griffrücken sind ebenfalls mit dieser Textur versehen. Nicht zu scharf um bei hohen Serien zu schmerzen oder an der Kleidung zu "reißen" aber aggressiv genug, um jederzeit perfekten Grip zu erreichen. Die ausgeschwungene Formgebung am Griffende gibt dem kleinen Finger Halt und unterstützt beim intuitiven Deuten.
Alle Modelle der PDP-Serie haben einen beidseitigen Verschlussfanghebel, einen umsteckbaren Magazinknopf und kommen Optics Ready mit ausgefräster Schlittenoberseite für verschiedene – optional erhältliche – Adapterplatten für Leuchtpunktvisiere der Marken Docter, Noblex, Meopta, Trijicon, Holosun, Riton, Axion, Leupold, SIG Sauer, Vortex oder Burris Fast Fire-Serie.
Die neue Optik-Montageplattform zeichnet sich durch den geänderten Cut-Out für die Montageplatte aus. Dieser ist um 2 mm länger als bisher und ermöglicht so die Montage von allen aktuell gängigen Rotpunktvisieren. Außerdem umfasst die neue Ausstattung Rückstoßstollen und größere Schraubenausschnitte. Damit ist es möglich, zur Montage die Original-Befestigungsschrauben der Optikhersteller zu verwenden.
Wer auf "klassische" Weise über Kimme und Korn zielen möchte kann dies über die zu GLOCK kompatiblen Visierungen tun. Eine Co-Witness-Visierung ist möglich. Die serienmäßige Visierung ist von Haus aus in Höhe und Seite justierbar. An der Picatinny-Schiene kann weiteres praktisches Zubehör angebracht werden.
Der Dynamic Performance Abzug bricht am Druckpunkt wie Glas mit einem Abzugsgewicht von 22 N. Der kurze Reset erlaubt gleichmäßige Top Performance von Schuss zu Schuss. Beides zusammen schafft die Voraussetzung für kontrolliertes Treffen und sichere Abzugsbeherrschung in jeder Situation und von Schuss zu Schuss.
Das Ergebnis aus perfektioniertem Griffwinkel und dem Zusammenspiel aus Gesamtgewicht, Gewichtsverteilung sowie Balance ist das exzellente Deutverhalten. Die Waffe folgt intuitiv der Sichtlinie des Zielauges.
Das gestufte Patronenlager sorgt für eine deutlich bessere Liderung und somit geringere Verschmutzung des Polygonlaufs.

Nach dem Erfolg des PGW Glock Kompensators, wurde jetzt von uns ein Kompensator für die beliebte Walther PDP entwickelt. Der PGW PDP Carry Compensator sorgt für eine spürbare Verringerung von Rückschlag und Mündungsausschlag. Ideal für sportliche Zwecke!
Der Kompensator funktioniert mit allen PDP Modellen, benötigt jedoch einen Lauf mit 1/2"x28 UNEF Mündungsgewinde.
Durch sein minimales Gewicht von lediglich 35 Gramm bietet der PGW Carry Comp mit üblichen Lauflängen, Geschossgewichten (95-154 Grain) und Ladungen die 100% zuverlässige Funktion in Ihrer PDP. Es werden keine weiteren Tuningteile benötigt.
Bei selbst geladener Munition bleibt die Funktion mit Kompensator unbeeinträchtigt bis die Mündungsgeschwindigkeit gegenüber Fabrikladungen um ca. 15% unterschritten wird.
Der Carry Compensator wird durch Klemmung fixiert. Viele Montagesysteme von Kompensatoren verwenden zur Fixierung Madenschrauben, die auf das Gewinde drücken und damit leicht Schaden verursachen können. Durch die Klemmmontage von PGW ist keine Beschädigung am Gewinde möglich und es wird trotzdem ein sicherer Halt garantiert (auch ohne Loctite!). Ebenfalls erleichtet dies die schnelle Demontage des Comps.
