Field · Game care · 3-piece set
Dick ErgoGrip Outdoor Set: Keep field dressing, ring cutting, and boning separate This set combines three clearly defined knife roles for game care: a field-dressing knife, a ring-cutting knife, and a boning knife. It is therefore more hunting-focused than a classic butcher's set, but deliberately not a complete butchering or sharpening system.

Our honest take
Its strength is the workflow right after the shot: open, handle detail work precisely, then work close to the bone. If you mostly portion meat at a butchering table, longer butcher knives plus a honing steel are likely a better fit.

A good fit if … … you don't want to handle field dressing, ring cutting, and boning with a single compromise knife.
… clearly visible, hygienic handles are a priority in the field and in the game room.

Probably not a fit if … … you mainly portion large cuts of meat or are looking for a complete game-room set that includes a honing steel.
… you expect a bone saw, pouch, or universal outdoor knife to be included.

Three knives – three jobs

Field-dressing knife, 15 cm For controlled opening of the carcass. Its specialized geometry makes the process safer than using an unnecessarily pointed all-purpose knife.

Ring-cutting knife, 10 cm Compact blade for precise detail work. A shorter blade offers more control during close work.

Boning knife, 13 cm For working close to the bone and moving on to further processing.

Signal-orange handles Easy to spot in grass, on dark work surfaces, and among gear quickly
easier to find – real practical value, not just looks.

Limits, drawbacks and avoiding a bad purchase
No sharpening steel or bone saw: if you process game for longer, you’ll need to handle blade maintenance and bone work separately. Three loose knives also need a clean, washable way to transport and separate them. After contact with hide or heavily soiled areas, don’t move on to clean meat without cleaning the knife first.
Technical specs with practical context

15 cm ErgoGrip skinning knife – for controlled opening.

10 cm ErgoGrip straight ring knife – for precise detail work.

13 cm MasterGrip curved, rigid boning knife – for working close to the bone.

Working steel
The ErgoGrip knives use X55CrMo14 steel, approx. 56 HRC: easy-care, easy-to-sharpen working steel rather than a hard collector’s blade.

What’s included
1 × Dick ErgoGrip 15 cm skinning knife, 1 × Dick ErgoGrip 10 cm ring knife, 1 × Dick MasterGrip 13 cm boning knife. Don’t assume a sharpening steel, bone saw or case is included.
Safe use
Use a stable cutting surface, always work away from your body and free hand, and don’t compensate for dull blades by applying more pressure. Clean and dry the knives after each stage, and transport them clean and separated. Don’t pry with working knives or misuse them for bone work.
FAQ
Why three knives instead of one? Because skinning, ring cutting and boning require different blade shapes and reach. Is a sharpening steel included? No. For longer jobs, plan for blade maintenance separately. Can I use these to fully butcher game? Only partly. Additional knives are useful for large cuts of meat and longer work in the game room. What’s the advantage of the orange handles? They’re easier to find again in the field and on work surfaces, and provide a durable, easy-to-clean grip for work.
Black Raptor · clear roles for each knife
This set is a great choice if your process starts with field dressing. For complete butchering, add specific tools rather than expecting three knives to do jobs they weren’t designed for. (Show description in original language)

Revier · Wildversorgung · 3-teilig

Drei Messer – drei Aufgaben

Lieferumfang
1 × Dick ErgoGrip Aufbrechmesser 15 cm, 1 × Dick ErgoGrip Ringelmesser 10 cm, 1 × Dick MasterGrip Ausbeinmesser 13 cm.
Black Raptor · klare Messerrollen
