What makes the .416 Barrett box special
Caliber-specific fit
Precisely fitting slots according to CIP standard dimension – each cartridge sits firmly in its place, play and rattling reduced to a minimum. The shape follows the caliber, not the drawer.
Hinge lid with latch closure
The lid is attached at the back via a hinge and folds fully backward – the cartridges then stand upright and ready to grab in the securely fitting insert. A latch closure at the front keeps the lid securely closed during transport; to open, simply release the catch.
Stable & durable
Strong wall thickness, densely printed layers – the box holds reliably together in the gun cabinet, range bag, and on the go. Reusable, not a disposable carton.
Caliber marking in multicolor print
The caliber designation is printed directly in multicolor on the box – permanent, without stickers and without engraving. In a full gun cabinet, you immediately grab the right box.
For sport shooters, hunters, and reloaders
Reloaders: one box per load (powder type, charge, bullet) – batch cleanly separated and clearly marked in multicolor instead of mixed loads.

We print every box here in Westerwald – no container import, no anonymous mass production. Printing is largely done with solar power from our own 22-kWp photovoltaic system. Material: Filamelt PLA+ 2.0.
Frequently asked questions about the .416 Barrett box
Do my reloads fit too?
The box is designed for CIP-compliant .416 Barrett (OAL up to 126 mm according to CIP). Custom loadings with longer overall length (long bullets, shallow seating depth) can be tight near the upper OAL limit – if in doubt, ask briefly in advance.
Does the lid pop open in the backpack?
No. A latch closure at the front keeps the hinge lid securely closed so it does not accidentally open during transport. To open, release the catch with your finger; the lid then folds backward. Slight manufacturing tolerances are possible.
Are the boxes suitable for transport?
They are well suited for transport in the range bag – as an organizing and storage box. They do not replace a legally required safety container (WaffG/AWaffV) and are not hazardous material packaging.
Can the B
ox heat (e.g. the summer trunk)?
Designed for room and cabinet temperature and permanently dimensionally stable there. PLA remains temperature sensitive: prolonged heat, such as in a heated summer trunk, is better avoided.
What are tolerances in 3D printing?
Due to manufacturing, slight tolerances are possible. The cartridges still fit firmly in the slot – a minimal play remains due to the design, and unnecessary pressure on the bullet nose is avoided as much as possible.

Kaliberspezifische Passform
Passgenaue Steckplätze nach CIP-Standardmaß – jede Patrone sitzt fest an ihrem Platz, Spiel und Klappern auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die Form folgt dem Kaliber, nicht der Schublade.
Scharnierdeckel mit Rastverschluss
Der Deckel ist hinten über ein Scharnier angebunden und klappt vollständig nach hinten auf – die Patronen stehen dann aufrecht und griffbereit im fest sitzenden Einsatz. Ein Rastverschluss an der Vorderseite hält den Deckel im Transport sicher geschlossen; zum Öffnen löst du einfach den Riegel.
Stabil & langlebig
Kräftige Wandung, dicht gedruckte Lagen – die Box hält im Waffenschrank, im Range Bag und unterwegs zuverlässig zusammen. Wiederverwendbar, kein Wegwerf-Karton.
Kaliber-Kennzeichnung im Mehrfarbdruck
Die Kaliberangabe ist mehrfarbig direkt in den Druck der Box eingearbeitet – dauerhaft, ohne Aufkleber und ohne Gravur. Im vollen Waffenschrank greifst du sofort zur richtigen Box.
Für Sportschützen, Jäger und Wiederlader
Wiederlader: eine Box je Laborierung (Pulversorte, Ladung, Geschoss) – Charge sauber getrennt und mehrfarbig gedruckt eindeutig gekennzeichnet statt vermischter Ladungen.

Häufige Fragen zur .416 Barrett-Box
Passen auch meine Wiederladepatronen?
Die Box ist für CIP-konforme .416 Barrett ausgelegt (OAL bis 126 mm nach CIP). Eigene Laborierungen mit längerem Setzmaß (lange Geschosse, geringe Setztiefe) können nahe der oberen OAL-Grenze knapp werden – im Zweifel vorab kurz anfragen.
Springt der Deckel im Rucksack auf?
Nein. Ein Rastverschluss an der Vorderseite hält den Scharnierdeckel sicher zu, sodass er im Transport nicht versehentlich aufgeht. Zum Öffnen löst du den Riegel mit dem Finger; der Deckel klappt dann nach hinten auf. Geringe Fertigungstoleranzen sind möglich.
Sind die Boxen für den Transport geeignet?
Für den Transport in der Range Bag ist sie gut geeignet – als Ordnungs- und Aufbewahrungsbox. Sie ersetzt kein vorgeschriebenes Sicherheitsbehältnis (WaffG/AWaffV) und ist keine Gefahrgutverpackung.
Verträgt die Box Hitze (z. B. den Sommer-Kofferraum)?
Für Raum- und Schranktemperatur ausgelegt und dort dauerhaft formstabil. PLA bleibt temperaturempfindlich: längere Hitze, etwa im aufgeheizten Sommer-Kofferraum, vermeidest du besser.
Wie sind Toleranzen im 3D-Druck?
Fertigungsbedingt sind geringe Toleranzen möglich. Die Patronen sitzen trotzdem fest im Steckplatz – ein minimales Restspiel bleibt konstruktionsbedingt, und unnötiger Druck auf die Geschossnase wird soweit möglich vermieden.
