At 8x magnification, the inner diameter of the ring is 133 mm. The reticle is built in the 2nd focal plane, so changing magnification (from 7x to 9x) changes the distance between the reticle ring and the target arbitrarily. Only magnifications from 7x to 9x can be used. (See fig. 4 / reticle)
