The Hornady Precision Hunter hunting cartridge with the state-of-the-art ELD-X bullet (Extremely Low Drag - Expanding) in the globally proven universal caliber .30-06 Springfield is a technological masterpiece for discerning big game hunters. Loaded with the 11.5g (178 grs) ELD-X bullet, this ammunition offers unparalleled inherent precision and excellent terminal performance at all hunting distances. The patented Heat-Shield polymer tip perfectly withstands aerodynamic heating in flight and ensures a consistently high ballistic coefficient as well as an extremely flat trajectory. Upon impact in the game body, the tip initiates an immediate, controlled expansion, while the InterLock ring secures the jacketed rear core to guarantee high retained weight and maximum exit probability.
