Collaboration for utmost precision
The Pro Tuning Pistol Taipan OR is designed for static precision disciplines and is the result of close collaboration between experienced shooters and experts from the FRANKONIA Tuning Center.
Combination of technology and experience
The goal of this project was clearly defined. Two essential factors were to be combined: on one hand, the mature CZ technology designed as a basis with excellent tuning parts, and on the other hand, the extensive experience in development and assembly. Years of experience in tuning handguns, hand-fitting the barrel and slide, numerous practical and precision tests, as well as several thousand shots ultimately led to a result that can certainly be seen in terms of perfection!
Adaptability for different shooters
With the ambidextrous safety, the weapon is well-suited for both right- and left-handed shooters. Furthermore, the pistol can also be adjusted for shooters with smaller hands. This is ensured by the grip width of only 29 mm and an adjustable trigger pull.
Technical details and equipment
The special feature is the combination of the proven Taipan with a MAKnetic reflex sight system, which makes switching from open sights to red dot sights a breeze. A LPA-TRT rear sight is already mounted as standard. The delivery includes, among other things, three adapter plates (for Shield, Trijicon RMR, and Docter). With the raised front sight height of 11.5 mm, the Pro Tuning Taipan OR is Co-Witness Ready. The massive dust cover is equipped with a rail with Picatinny profile, to which, for example, additional weights can be attached.
The Taipan comes with a 19-round magazine and 2 spare magazines, a 6-inch barrel (153 mm), and a sight length of 181 mm. The magazine release button can be converted for left-handed operation. The total weight – including an empty magazine – is approximately 1,260 g. This top-class sport pistol is delivered with a finely tuned, and precisely set Single-Action-Only (SAO) match trigger with a special aluminum trigger shoe, a matched Single-Action-Only hammer, and aluminum grip panels with sharp checkering (textured surface).

Zusammenarbeit für höchste Präzision
Die Pro Tuning Pistole Taipan OR ist für die statischen Präzisionsdisziplinen konzipiert und das Ergebnis einer engen Zusammenarbeit von erfahrenen Schützen und den Experten aus dem FRANKONIA Tuning-Center.
Kombination aus Technik und Erfahrung
Das Ziel bei diesem Projekt war klar definiert. Es sollten zwei essentielle Faktoren miteinander kombiniert werden: Zum einen die als Basis ausgelegte, ausgereifte CZ-Technik mit exzellenten Tuningteilen und zum anderen die umfangreichen Erfahrungswerte in der Entwicklung, sowie in der Montage. Die jahrelange Erfahrung im Tuning von Kurzwaffen, das Einpassen von Lauf und Verschluss von Hand, zahlreiche Praxis- und Präzisionstest, sowie mehrere tausend Schüsse führten letztendlich zu einem Ergebnis, dass sich in Punkto Perfektion durchaus sehen lassen kann!
Anpassungsfähigkeit für verschiedene Schützen
Durch die beidseitige Sicherung ist die Waffe für Rechts- und Linksschützen bestens geeignet. Des Weiteren kann die Pistole auch für Schützen mit kleineren Händen angepasst werden. Hierfür sorgt die Griffbreite von nur 29 mm und ein verstellbarer Vorzugsweg des Abzuges.
Technische Details und Ausstattung
Das Besondere ist die Kombination der bewährten Taipan mit einem MAKnetic Reflexvisier-System, das den Wechsel von der offenen Visierung zum Rotpunktvisier zum Kinderspiel macht. Serienmäßig ist eine LPA-TRT Kimme bereits montiert. Im Lieferumfang sind unter Anderem drei Adapterplatten (für Shield, Trijicon RMR und Docter) enthalten. Durch das erhöhte Korn mit einer Höhe von 11,5 mm ist die Pro Tuning Taipan OR Co-Witness Ready. Der massive Dust Cover ist mit einer Schiene mit Picatinny Profil versehen, an der zum Beispiel Zusatzgewichte angebracht werden können.
Die Taipan kommt mit einem 19-Schuss-Magazin und 2 Reservemagazinen, einem 6-Zoll-Lauf (153 mm) und einer Visierlänge von 181 mm. Der Magazinauslöseknopf kann auf Linkshandbetrieb umgebaut werden. Das Gesamtgewicht – inklusive leerem Magazin – beläuft sich auf ca.1.260 g. Diese erstklassige Sportpistole wird mit einem fein überarbeiteten, und auf 1.200 bis 1.300 g Abzugsgewicht präzise eingestellten, Single-Action-Only (SAO) Matchabzug mit speziellem Alu-Abzugszüngel, einem abgestimmten Single-Action-Only-Hammer und Alu-Griffschalen mit scharfem Checkering (geriffelte Oberfläche) ausgeliefert.
