The side-mounted battery compartment and the innovative elevation and windage adjustment system based on a beryllium copper spring enable the ultra-low profile of the ROMEO-X, thereby optimizing the shooting characteristics and allowing for the simultaneous use of emergency/standard sights.

- MAGNETAC™ (Magnetic Activation): A sensor in the optic detects a neodymium magnet in a compatible holster to automatically turn off the optic when carried in the holster, extending battery life. When the firearm is drawn from the holster, the optic immediately turns on to the last used setting.
