The B&T Blast Deflector was developed to eliminate the typical disadvantages of muzzle brakes and compensators. While these gases are diverted sideways, the Blast Deflector ensures that the gas flow is directed forward. The result: significantly less lateral pressure, reduced strain for neighboring shooters, clean shooting behavior, especially on the range. Especially when shooting in line or under confined conditions, this makes a real difference.
In addition to improved gas management, the Blast Deflector brings another advantage: its own weight reduces muzzle movement, allowing for faster and more controlled follow-up shots. Additionally, the forward-directed gas flow prevents the swirling of dust and dirt – a crucial factor when shooting prone or on uneven ground.
The Blast Deflector is designed for use with B&T M.A.R.S. QD muzzle brakes and compensators and can be mounted in seconds.

Made from durable material, the Blast Deflector is designed for tough use. The integrated front geometry also serves as a glass breaker, providing extended utility in tactical scenarios.
The Blast Deflector is not a suppressor and does not reduce gunfire noise. It is solely intended for the redirection of gases and the improvement of shooting behavior – and is therefore freely available in many cases.
