The components of the ARC 1200X dog trainer from Dogtra include a remote control and the receiver collar. Both components are waterproof according to IPX9K, with a range of up to 1,200 m. They are powered by rechargeable lithium-polymer batteries, which can be charged via a standard USB-C power adapter (not included).
The Receiver Collar
The collar has been ergonomically designed for the dog's neck and features controllable electrical impulses in momentary and continuous modes, vibrations, as well as tone and light impulses. The electrical impulses can be adjusted continuously from 0 to 100 using the rotary switch on the remote control. The selected level is secured against accidental changes with the dial. A programmable boost button provides direct access to a second impulse strength for critical situations. Additionally, the collar has a tone function and a 1,000 Lux strong localization light with a flashing function.
The threads for attaching the contacts to the collar are located on the contacts themselves. This means that the collar has a flat inner side when the contacts are unscrewed, allowing it to be used without power with vibrations and tones. Therefore, the contacts from previous models are not compatible.
The Remote Control
The transmitter fits well in the hand and features a clip for attaching to a belt. The illuminated LCD display shows all data and selected functions, while the LED battery level indicator informs about the battery status. The rotary switch allows for continuous adjustment of the intensity, and the boost button enables immediate response to critical situations. Optionally, a hands-free button (not included) can be used via Bluetooth.

Die Bestandteile des ARC 1200X Hundetrainers von Dogtra sind ein Handsender und das Empfängerhalsband. Beide Komponenten sind wasserdicht nach IPX9K, die Reichweite beträgt bis zu 1.200 m. Betrieben werden sie durch aufladbare Lithium-Polymer-Akkus, die über einen handelsüblichen USB-C-Netzstecker (nicht inkl.) aufgeladen werden.
Das Empfängerhalsband
Das Halsband wurde ergonomisch perfekt für den Hundehals ausgelegt und verfügt über steuerbare elektrische Impulse im Einzel- und Dauermodus, Vibrationen sowie Ton- und Lichtimpulse. Die elektrischen Impulse können stufenlos von 0 bis 100 über den Drehschalter am Handsender eingestellt werden. Am Drehrad wird die gewählte Stufe gegen versehentliche Änderungen fixiert. Eine programmierbare Booster-Taste gewährt direkten Zugriff auf eine zweite Impulsstärke für kritische Situationen. Daneben verfügt das Halsband über eine Ton-Funktion und ein 1.000 Lux starkes Lokalisierungslicht mit Blinkfunktion.
Die Gewinde zur Befestigung der Kontakte am Halsband befinden sich an den Kontakten selbst. Dadurch hat das Halsband bei abgeschraubten Kontakten eine flache Innenseite, so dass es auch stromlos mit Vibrationen und Tönen genutzt werden kann. Deshalb sind die Kontakte früherer Modelle nicht kompatibel.
Der Handsender
Der Sender liegt gut in der Hand und verfügt über einen Clip zum Befestigen am Gürtel. Das beleuchtete LCD-Display zeigt alle Daten und gewählten Funktionen an, die LED-Batteriestandanzeige informiert über den Akkustand. Der Drehschalter erlaubt ein stufenloses Anpassen der Intensität und mit der Booster-Taste kann man auf kritische Situationen sofort reagieren. Optional kann via Bluetooth ein Handfree Button (nicht inkl.) benutzt werden.
