Highly precise for hunting and sport The MR308 is a semi-automatic self-loading rifle in caliber .308 Win. It is the civilian version of the police and military-used HK417, maintaining the same quality with the same high standards of precision, safety, and reliability. As an indirect gas-operated loader, the MR308 works like its smaller brother MR223 with the proven and reliable drive system of the G36. The highly precise long gun in AR design is fully suitable for hunting and guarantees top results among sport shooters in static and dynamic long gun disciplines. The MR308 is available in barrel lengths of 13, 16.5, and 20 inches. The cold-hammered and hard-chromed precision barrels are free-floating and ensure excellent hit results. The Slim Line handguard with HKey interfaces fits precisely on the extended barrel nut and ensures that no components warp or start to wobble under load. The retractable Slim Line stock, in combination with the short barrel length, makes the MR308 extremely maneuverable. With detent positions, the stock can be optimally adjusted to the body structure. Identical to the MR223, the big brother MR308 features ambidextrous and symmetrically arranged controls for a balanced combination of handling and control.
