Viking Round Shield with Rawhide Edging made of approximately 13 mm thick plywood. In the center of the shield is a steel boss. The rawhide-covered shield edge and three riveted reinforcement strips on the back provide additional stability to the shield. The middle strip also serves as a grip and is wrapped in leather for a comfortable hold at the height of the shield hole.
The shield boss included in the delivery can be easily attached to the shield using the supplied rivets, and offers enough space even for strong Viking hands.

(Show description in original language)Wikinger Rundschild mit Rohaut Umrandung aus ca. 13 mm starkem Sperrholz gefertigt. In der Mitte des Schildes befindet sich ein Stahlbuckel. Der mit Rohhaut verkleidete Schildrand sowie drei vernietete Verstärkungsleisten auf der Rückseite verleihen dem Schild zusätzliche Stabilität. Die mittlere Leiste dient zudem als Griff und ist für einen bequemen Halt auf Höhe des Schildloches mit Leder umwickelt.
Der im Lieferumfang erhaltene Schildbuckel kann mithilfe der mitgelieferten Nieten leicht am Schild angebracht werden, und bietet selbst für kräftige Wikingerhände genügend Platz.
Hinweis: Holzschild nicht für Vollkontakt geeignet.
