Non-commissioned officer saber of the American Revolution with polished blade made of 1085 carbon steel. Solid steel grip with spiral-carved hardwood grip including black scabbard with steel fittings.

The American colonists were, like most Europeans, in love with the dashing French hussars. The handcrafted grip of this American saber reflects their admiration for the French style around 1700.
