The HK SFP9 A1 is an evolution of the Heckler & Koch SFP9 pistol, focusing on improved ergonomics and handling. The SFP9X A1 appears in the same size as the previous, "old" SFP9.
The pistols of the A1 generation are standardly "Optic Ready" and feature a maritime slide design with additional grooves that facilitate reloading even under difficult conditions, such as with wet, sweaty, or dirty hands.
It combines the full grip of the standard SFP9 with a compact slide for good control and maneuverability. Additionally, it does away with the so-called "fingergrooves" (finger indentations on the grip).
Another feature is a textured area on both sides of the pistol that serves as a tactile reference point. These special contact surfaces allow for precise placement of the thumb of the supporting hand as well as the index finger of the shooting hand.
The magazines have also been revised: The SFP9 A1 magazines now feature a side finger rest that makes removal easier.

Die HK SFP9 A1 ist eine Weiterentwicklung der Heckler & Koch SFP9-Pistole mit dem Fokus auf verbesserte Ergonomie und Handhabung. Die SFP9X A1 erscheint in der gleichen Größe wie die bisherige, "alte" SFP9.
Die Pistolen der A1-Generation sind standardmäßig „Optic Ready“ und verfügen über ein maritimes Verschluss-Design mit zusätzlichen Rillen, das das Durchladen auch unter schwierigen Bedingungen etwa mit nassen, verschwitzten oder verschmutzten Händen erleichtert.
Sie kombiniert das volle Griffstück der Standard SFP9 mit einem kompakten Verschluss für gute Kontrolle und Führigkeit. Zudem verzichten Sie auf die sogenannten „Fingergrooves“ (Fingermulden am Griffstück).
Ein weiteres Merkmal ist ein strukturierter Bereich auf beiden Seiten der Pistole, der als taktiler Referenzpunkt dient. Diese speziellen Kontaktflächen ermöglichen eine präzise Platzierung des Daumens der unterstützenden Hand sowie des Zeigefingers der schießenden Hand.
Auch die Magazine wurden überarbeitet: Die SFP9 A1 Magazine verfügen nun über eine seitliche Fingerauflage, die das Entnehmen erleichtert.
