ACME's whistles are frequency standardized, thus guaranteeing an identical tone for whistles with the same number. The whistles are available in 210.5 and 211.5. 210.5 has a higher (brighter) tone. As a result, the sound does not carry as far in windy weather. It is best suited for spaniels that work closely with the handler, where the distances are not so great. 211.5 has a deeper (darker) tone. This allows the sound to carry further in windy weather.
