Helle Nordlys – robust, well-balanced outdoor knife
The Helle Nordlys is the more compact version of the well-known Nord model and is aimed at users looking for a guiding, well-balanced knife for both fine and heavier tasks. The shaped birch wood handle fits comfortably in the hand thanks to its ergonomically curved shape and allows for various grips – from the precise forward grip to the firm pommel grip when more pressure is needed.
The 12.2 cm long blade made of robust 14C28N steel features a slightly downward-turned tip and a classic Scandinavian grind. This geometry provides clean control when carving, enough reserves when chopping smaller branches, and conveys a very controlled cutting feel. The Nordlys feels stable, smooth, and immediately familiar.
Thanks to its full tang construction, the knife offers high stability. It comes delivered in a handcrafted leather sheath with a belt loop.

Helle Nordlys – kräftiges, ausgewogenes Outdoor-Messer
Das Helle Nordlys ist die kompaktere Variante des bekannten Nord-Modells und richtet sich an Anwender, die ein führiges, gut ausbalanciertes Messer für feine wie kräftigere Arbeiten suchen. Der geformte Birkenholzgriff liegt dank der ergonomisch gewölbten Form angenehm in der Hand und erlaubt verschiedene Handlagen – vom präzisen Vordergriff bis hin zum festen Knaufgriff, wenn mehr Druck gefragt ist.
Die 12,2 cm lange Klinge aus robustem 14C28N-Stahl besitzt eine leicht nach unten gezogene Spitze und einen klassischen skandinavischen Schliff. Diese Geometrie bietet saubere Führung beim Schnitzen, genug Reserven beim Hacken kleinerer Äste und vermittelt ein sehr kontrolliertes Schneidgefühl. Das Nordlys wirkt stabil, leichtgängig und sofort vertraut.
Dank Vollerl-Konstruktion sorgt das Messer für hohe Stabilität. Geliefert wird es in einer handgearbeiteten Lederscheide mit Gürtelschlaufe.
