The semi-automatic Browning BAR 4X Hunter Composite – here in the left-hand version – features several improvements over its predecessors, including the threaded connection between the barrel and receiver. The interface is stiffer, and the contact area of the stock has been widened. The rifle is ideal for hunting from a stand as well as for driven hunts. Browning emphasizes modularity with the BAR 4X Hunter. This set includes the system with a barrel in the caliber of your choice as well as a composite stock in the colors of your choice.

The Stock

Die halbautomatische Browning BAR 4X Hunter Composite – hier in der Linksausführung – weist gegenüber ihren Vorgängermodellen einige Verbesserungen auf, unter anderem bei der Gewindeverbindung von Lauf und Gehäuse. Die Schnittstelle ist steifer, zudem wurde die Auflagefläche des Schafts verbreitert. Die Büchse ist ideal für die Jagd vom Ansitz als auch für die Drückjagd. Browning setzt bei der BAR 4X Hunter auf Modularität. Dieses Set umfasst das System mit einem Lauf im Kaliber Ihrer Wahl sowie einen Composite-Schaft in den Farben Ihrer Wahl.

Der Schaft
Bei dem Composite-Schaft der BAR 4X Hunter sind die Einlagen an dem Pistolengriff, den Griffflächen des Vorderschafts und der Rücken farblich abgesetzt. Sie haben die Wahl zwischen folgenden Kombinationen (Grundfarbe / Einlagen):

System mit Lauf
Das Active Valve System reguliert automatisch den Gasdruck je nach der Ladung, die Sie verwenden. Auch der Handspanner des Gasdruckladers hat eine Verbesserung erfahren. Sein Weg wurde zur Erhöhung des Schießkomforts um 25% reduziert. Der Knopf ist zudem breiter. In Kombination mit den 7 Verriegelungswarzen des Drehkammerverschlusses ist das Gewehr absolut sicher zu handhaben. Das trocken stehendende und verzugsfreie Abzugssystem Super Feather-Trigger ermöglicht auch vom Ansitz und auf große Distanzen schnelle Schussfolgen und hohe Treffgenauigkeit. Der Magazinentnahmeknopf ist direkt vor dem Abzugsbügel angebracht, so dass ein schneller Magazinwechsel erfolgen kann. Die Lauflänge beträgt 53 cm. Der kannelierte Lauf hat keine Visierung und ist mit einem M14x1- (.308Win und .30-06Spring) bzw. M15x1-Gewinde (9,3x62) für einen Schalldämpfer oder eine Mündungsbremse versehen. Sie können zwischen den Kalibern .308Win, .30-06Spring und 9,3x62 wählen.
