The G&G FAR 556 with ETU features a very high-quality R.I.S. system made of fiber-reinforced plastic and is the ideal airsoft gun for beginners and of course also for experienced CQB players. The materials and workmanship are, as known from G&G, excellent, and the body can certainly withstand more than a zinc die-cast model from China. With the new trigger technology, G&G takes another step in the right direction, moving away from old constraints towards modern airsoft models that guarantee high rates of fire and durability.
Furthermore, the FAR 556 has the new Generation 2 MIG Gearbox with a quick spring change system. The stock and handguard can be folded without any additional tools (G&G patented). To do this, the stock must be released by pressing a button (located on the housing) and can then be folded
and for the handguard, there is a latch with a pull cord, and by pulling this latch, the handguard can also
be folded, resulting in the incredibly compact G&G FAR 9 airsoft that can be easily taken along.
The RIS rail on top is completely continuous, and the handguard is M-Lok compatible.
New to this weapon is the micro switch trigger unit with Mosfet. Similar to an ASCU, it now offers the advantages of a switch unit with a micro switch. The Mosfet located inside the gearbox is suitable for LiPo batteries. Only high-quality batteries specifically developed for the airsoft sector should be used here. High trigger speed is not the only advantage of the ETU.
When using a silencer or a tracer unit with a diameter greater than 33mm, an adapter is required.
