Jagawams GunDry - a dehumidifier for the gun cabinet. The silica gel granulate can be dried/regenerated directly in the removable box in the oven. The base is equipped with strong magnets, allowing it to be mounted in any position inside the gun cabinet. Humid air is heavier, so it is advisable to place it just above floor height on the back wall of the cabinet - an area that would otherwise remain unused. The silica gel granulate is orange in its unsaturated state and changes color when it absorbs moisture. When it is saturated with moisture, it turns dark green and needs to be regenerated in the oven. The granulate box is made of a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic that is heat-resistant up to 110°C. To regenerate/dry the granulate, simply place it in the box in the oven at a maximum of 110°C for about 2 hours - done. Not suitable for microwaves! Jagawams GunDry - ein Luftentfeuchter für den Waffenschrank. Das Silicagel-Granulat kann direkt in der abnehmbaren Box im Ofen getrocknet/regeneriert werden. Die Basis ist mit starken Magneten ausgestattet, so dass sie in jeder Position im Waffenschrank angebracht werden kann. Feuchte Luft ist schwerer, daher bietet sich eine Anbringung knapp über Bodenhöhe an der Schrankrückwand an - ein Raum, der sonst ungenutzt bleibt. Das Silicagel-Granulat ist im ungesättigten Zustand orange und verfärbt sich bei der Aufnahme von Feuchtigkeit. Wenn es mit mit Feuchtigkeit gesättigt ist, dann ist es dunkelgrün und muss im Ofen wieder regeneriert werden.
Die Granulatbox ist aus einem Carbonfaser-verstärktem Kunststoff der bis 110°C hitzebeständig ist. Um das Granulat zu regenerieren/zu trocknen wird es einfach in der Box bei max. 110°C ca. 2h in den Backofen gestellt - fertig. Nicht Mikrowellen-geeignet!
