The Preduzece 44 M48A is a Yugoslav variant of the famous Mauser 98 system and was manufactured in caliber 8 x 57 JS. It was produced in the late 1940s and 1950s as the standard rifle of the Yugoslav army. It features a slightly shorter barrel than the K98k. Additionally, the bolt is slightly modified, which is why the stock and the system are designed to be somewhat bulkier than the K98k. This weapon has excellent manufacturing quality, is very robust & reliable. Due to its reputation as a well-crafted Mauser variant that differs from the German K98k only in details, this Preduzece 44 is well-suited both as a collector's item and for shooting sports and hunting. This weapon bears German proof marks.

Die Preduzece 44 M48A ist eine jugoslawische Variante des berühmten Mauser 98-Systems und wurde im Kaliber 8 x 57 JS gefertigt. Sie wurde in den späten 1940er- und 1950er-Jahren als Standardgewehr der jugoslawischen Armee produziert. Sie verfügt über einen etwas kürzeren Lauf als der K98k. Darüber hinaus ist der Verschluss leicht modifiziert, weshalb der Schaft und das System etwas massiver als beim K98k konzipiert ist. Diese Waffe hat eine exzellente Fertigungsqualität, ist sehr robust & zuverlässig. Aufgrund ihrer Bekanntheit als gut verarbeitete Mauservariante, die sich vom deutschen K98k nur in Details unterscheidet, ist diese Preduzece 44 sowohl als Sammlerstück als auch für den Schießsport und die Jagd prädestiniert. Diese Waffe hat deutsche Beschusszeichen.
