The Savage Model 64 Precision is a new variant of the proven Model 64, a .22 caliber rifle that has been produced in Canada for over 60 years (since 1964). Originally manufactured by Cooey, the factory was acquired by Lakefield Arms in 1979 and by Savage Arms in 1995. The design is robust and reliable but also very simple - the Model 64 is a blowback-operated rifle with a mass bolt. Simple and functional, the weapon has established itself over the decades due to its low price but good precision.

The Savage Model 64 Precision features a one-piece chassis made of glass-filled nylon - this allows the system to be excellently bedded and impresses with a pleasant shooting behavior. The fore-end is equipped with M-LOK interfaces, the pistol grip conforms to the AR15 standard and can be swapped for corresponding models. The weapon is delivered with a mounted 20 MOA Picatinny rail and a 10-round magazine, and a 1/2"x28 muzzle thread is present.

Die Savage Model 64 Precision ist eine neue Variante der bewährten Model 64, einer KK-Büchse welche inzwischen seit über 60 Jahren (seit 1964) in Kanada produziert wird. Ursprünglich von Cooey hergestellt, wurde das Werk 1979 von Lakefield Arms erworben und 1995 von Savage Arms. Das Design ist robust und zuverlässig aber auch sehr einfach - es handelt sich bei dem Model 64 um einen Rückstoßlader mit Masseverschluss. Einfach und funktionell hat sich die Waffe im Laufe der Jahrzehnte aufgrund ihres geringen Preises aber guten Präzision durchgesetzt.

Die Savage Model 64 Precision verfügt über ein einteiliges Chassis aus glasgefüllten Nylon - dadurch ist das System hervorragend gebettet und überzeugt mit einem angenehmen Schießverhalten. Der Vorderschaft ist mit M-LOK Schnittstellen ausgestattet, der Pistolengriff entspricht dem AR15 Standard und kann gegen entsprechende Modelle getauscht werden. Die Waffe wird mit einer montierten 20 MOA Picatinnyschiene und einem 10 Schuss Magazin ausgeliefert, ein 1/2"x28 Mündungsgewinde ist vorhanden.
