Die Nachsuche und damit verbundene Schweißarbeit ist sowohl in ethischer wie auch waidmännischer Hinsicht ein wesentlicher Teil der Jagd. Eine erfolgreiche Nachsuche setzt dabei nicht nur eine gute Ausbildung des Jagdhundes, sondern auch ein stetiges Training des Nachsuchgespanns und eine stetige Weiterbildung des Schweißhundsführers voraus.
