The Vario wide-angle eyepiece 25x - 50x WW ASPH is a component of the fully integrated Leica digiscoping system. It allows for perfect visibility across the entire wide field of view and delivers outstanding image sharpness to the edge through aspherical lenses.
The eyepiece features new rubberized functional elements, making it particularly grippy and easy to operate even with gloves in cold conditions. The comfortable twist-up eyecups also significantly enhance observation comfort.
The newly designed bayonet connection includes an automatic eyepiece locking mechanism, allowing the objective to be quickly and securely fixed to the spotting scope. Additionally, due to the redesign of the optical system, the eyepiece focal length is now independent of the 65mm or 82mm spotting scope used, and remains consistent when changing eyepieces.
Thanks to an elaborate nitrogen filling, the eyepiece achieves absolute top values regarding fogging resistance. Moreover, it is very robustly built and is pressure-waterproof up to a depth of 5 meters, regardless of the spotting scope.
Ideally, the wide-angle eyepiece is suitable for bird or nature observation, for digiscoping, as well as for astronomy enthusiasts.
Included in the delivery is an eyepiece pouch, an eyepiece protection cap, and the bayonet cap.

Das Vario-Weitwinkelokular 25x - 50x WW ASPH ist eine Komponente des komplett integrierten Leica Digiscoping-Systems. Es ermöglicht perfekte Sicht im gesamten breiten Sehfeld und liefert durch asphärische Linsen überragende Bildschärfe bis zum Rand.
Das Okular besitzt neue gummierte Funktionselemente, wodurch es besonders griffig ist und sich bei Kälte auch mit Handschuhen mühelos bedienen lässt. Durch die bequemen Drehaugenmuscheln wird der Beobachtungskomfort zudem deutlich erhöht.
Der neu konzipierte Bajonett-Anschluss verfügt über eine automatische Okularverriegelung, wodurch sich das Objektiv schnell und sicher am Spektiv fixieren lässt. Außerdem ist durch die Neukonstruktion des optischen Systems die Okularbrennweite nun auch unabhängig vom verwendeten 65er- oder 82er-Spektiv, und bleibt beim Wechseln der Okulare erhalten.
Dank einer aufwendigen Stickstofffüllung erzielt das Okular absolute Topwerte bezüglich Beschlagsicherheit. Zudem ist es sehr robust gebaut und unabhängig vom Spektiv bis zu einer Tiefe von 5 Metern druckwasserdicht.
Idealerweise eignet sich das Weitwinkelokular zur Vogel- oder Naturbeobachtung, zum Digiscoping, sowie für Astronomie-Interessierte.
Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist ein Okularköcher, sowie ein Okularschutzdeckel und der Bajonettdeckel.
