On the other hand, the deformation projectile stands out due to its penetration power. The lead-free projectile almost always achieves an exit wound, which is mainly due to the 99% residual weight, logically ensuring good depth effect. Thus, bone hits or larger game pose no problem for the RWS HIT.

Das RWS HIT Deformationsgeschoss mit einem Gewicht von 16,2 g / 250 gr im Kaliber 9,3x62 Short Rifle hat eine hohe Schockwirkung, die vor allem auf die TC-Tip- (Twin-Compression-Tip) und ACC-Technologien (Active-Crater-Cavity) von RWS zurückzuführen ist. Diese führen durch ein zuverlässiges, schnelles und gleichmäßiges Aufpilzen zu einer erstaunlichen Energiefreigabe im Wildstück.
Das bleifrei Geschoss mit enormer Durchschlagskraft und 99% Restgewicht erzielt fast immer einen Ausschuss und hat eine gute Tiefenwirkung. So stellen auch Knochentreffer oder stärkeres Wild kein Problem dar. Die RWS HIT wurde in der Short Rifle Ausführung extra für das Schießen aus kürzeren Läufen konzipiert.
