RH Preyda Arkansas Water Stones 1000/6000
The first Arkansas water stones have delivered excellent results in numerous preliminary tests and provide all those who prefer sharpening on a water stone with the familiar sharpening feel. As with oil stones, natural novaculite is the key component. However, this is embedded in a matrix, as is customary with water stones. This construction not only ensures high effectiveness but also a very long lifespan compared to Japanese water stones. The stones are generously sized at 20.3 x 7.6 x 2.5 cm and come with a non-slip silicone stand base. The available dressing stone ensures an optimal sharpening surface throughout the entire lifespan. The combination of the two common grits offers double performance from one stone.

Die ersten Arkansas-Wassersteine haben in zahlreichen Vorabtests exzellente Resultate geliefert und bieten all denen, die das Schleifen auf einem Wasserstein bevorzugen, das gewohnte Schleifgefühl. Wie auch bei den Ölsteinen ist natürlicher Novaculit der entscheidende Bestandteil. Allerdings ist dieser, wie üblich bei Wassersteinen, in eine Matrix eingebunden. Dieser Aufbau gewährleistet nicht nur eine hohe Effektivität, sondern auch eine sehr hohe Lebensdauer im Vergleich zu japanischen Wassersteinen. Die Steine sind mit ihren Abmaßen von 20,3 x 7,6 x 2,5 cm üppig dimensioniert und werden mit einem rutschfesten Silikon-Standsockel ausgeliefert. Der erhältliche Abrichtstein sorgt für eine optimale Schleiffläche über die gesamte Lebensdauer. Die Kombination aus den beiden gängigen Körnungen bietet zweifache Performance aus einem Stein.
