The forged blade of the Half Handmade Katana is carefully ground from carbon steel on modern machines. The blade surface is polished by hand and has a fine texture. The spine of the blade, with a thickness of 7 mm, corresponds to old originals. The Rockwell hardness of the blade is about 50 degrees.

The sword has a very handy and long grip made of wood, as well as the traditionally hand-applied wrapping. A robust and elaborately decorated tsuba on both sides, along with the lacquered wooden scabbard, complement this sword.

Die geschmiedete Klinge des Half Handmade Katana ist aus Kohlenstoffstahl auf modernen Maschinen sorgfältig ausgeschliffen. Die Klingenoberfläche ist von Hand poliert und besitzt eine feine Struktur. Der Klingenrücken mit 7 mm Stärke entspricht alten Originalen. Die Rockwellhärte der Klinge liegt bei ca. 50 Grad.

Das Schwert hat einen sehr handlichen und langen Griff, der aus Holz gefertigt ist, sowie die traditionelle von Hand aufgebrachte Wicklung. Eine kräftige und auf beiden Seiten aufwendig dekorierte Tsuba sowie die Lackscheide aus Holz ergänzen dieses Schwert.
