The Falcata was used by the Greeks around the 5th century BC. This very front-heavy blade shape was highly functional and combined the advantages of a battle axe and a short sword.

Falcata Sword with mirror-polished blade made of 420 stainless steel. The decorative grip with white inlay is adorned with a lion's head at the end of the grip. The model for this replica is located in the Archaeological Museum in Madrid.
