Two-handed sword Flammberge from the 15th century. Also known as German Bidenhänder, Flammenschwert, or Gassenhauer. Because the fighters could literally carve alleys into the enemy lines with it. A medieval reproduction of the sword from the museum in the town hall of Emden with a forged blade and crossguard made of carbon steel, leather-wrapped false edge, and hardwood grip.

The name Flamberge is derived from the wavy flame-shaped blade. Another designation is also Flammenschwert.

Zweihandschwert Flammberge aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Auch deutscher Bidenhänder, Flammenschwert oder auch Gassenhauer genannt. Da die Kämpfer damit regelrechte Gassen in die feindlichen Linien hauen konnten. Eine mittelalterliche Reproduktion des Schwertes aus dem Museum im Rathaus von Emden mit geschmiedeter Klinge und Parierstange aus Kohlenstoffstahl, lederumwickelter Fehlschärfe und Hartholz Griffstück.

Der Name Flamberge leitet sich von der gewellten flammenförmigen Klinge ab. Eine andere Bezeichnung ist auch Flammenschwert.
