Small Viking Sax Knife with Bone Handle in Borre Style from the 9th/10th century. Knife with a short hand-forged blade made of carbon steel with a strong spine and polished bone handle is decorated on both sides with Nordic engravings in Borre style circa 850-950 and ends towards the blade with a brass guard. Includes a heavily decorated sheath made of vegetable-tanned leather with a hand-embossed braid pattern. Reinforcement plates made of bone, brass rivets, and two hanging rings made of brass in the shape of coiled snakes complete the appearance of the sheath.

Inklusive kräftig verzierter Scheide aus vegetabil gegerbtem Leder mit in Handarbeit geprägtem Flechtmuster. Verstärkungsplatten aus Knochen, Messingnieten und zwei Aufhänge Ringe aus Messing in Form gewundener Schlangen runden die Optik der Scheide ab.
