Ultraviolet is a US action film set in the year 2078. A mysterious disease called Hämophagia breaks out, affecting among others the nurse Violet Song jat Shariff. The sick people, called Hämophagen, change and become similar to vampires. The government tries to exterminate them by imprisoning them in camps and then having them killed. Violet is forced by them to terminate her pregnancy, but she survives and becomes a fighter for the Hämophagen.
