The VFG bronze wire brush cleans the barrel of shotguns in calibers 12, 16, and 20 more gently than brass brushes – the ideal compromise between effectiveness and material preservation.

With bronze wire brushes, stubborn tombak residues can be reliably removed from the shotgun barrel. For this purpose, one of the brushes included in the set with M5 external thread is screwed onto a shotgun cleaning rod and pushed from the inside to the muzzle until the bristles stand up in front of the muzzle. It is then pulled back once more to remove any remaining residues. Afterwards, cleaning with wool wipers and felt shotgun cleaners is recommended.

Die VFG Bronzedrahtbürste reinigt den Lauf von Flinten im Kaliber 12, 16 und 20 schonender als Messingbürsten – der ideale Kompromiss zwischen Wirksamkeit und Materialschonung.

Mit Bronzedrahtbürsten lassen sich zuverlässig hartnäckige Tombakreste aus dem Schrotlauf entfernen. Hierfür wird eine der im Set erhaltenen Bürsten mit M5-Außengewinde auf einen Flintenputzstock geschraubt und von innen bis zur Mündung geschoben, bis die Borsten sich vor der Mündung aufgerichtet haben. Dann wird sie noch einmal zurückgezogen, um auch die letzten Reste zu entfernen. Im Nachgang empfiehlt sich die Reinigung mit Wollwischer und Flintenreinigern aus Filz.
