Haller kitchen knife with ceramic blade (blade length 100mm)
Ceramic knives are made from a further developed high-tech zirconium oxide. This material, which is the hardest after diamond, was originally developed for industrial purposes where conventional metal components fail. Zirconium oxide is extremely hard, resistant to wear, and chemically stable. It has a hardness of 8.2 Mohs. Steel, in comparison, has a hardness of 5-6 Mohs and diamond has a hardness of 10 Mohs. The handles are made of robust black plastic.

Haller Küchenmesser mit Keramikklinge (Klingenlänge 100mm)
Keramikmesser werden aus einem weiterentwickelten High-Tech Zirconium-Oxid gefertigt. Dieses Material, welches nach Diamant das härteste ist, wurde ursprünglich für industrielle Zwecke entwickelt, bei denen herkömmliche Metallkomponenten ver-sagen.
