Short Rifle is specifically optimized for use with short barrels without loss of performance. Short, handy barrels are increasingly gaining popularity among hunters. This trend is supported by the increasing use of suppressors, especially in caliber .308 Win. Standard ammunition is designed for common barrel lengths of 600 mm. When firing standard ammunition from short barrels (420 mm to 550 mm), the following disadvantages become apparent: energy and velocity loss, limited effectiveness, pronounced muzzle flash, loud muzzle report, and increased wear on suppressors.

Short Rifle ist speziell für die Verwendung aus kurzen Läufen optimiert ohne Leistungseinbußen.
Zunehmend gewinnen kurze, führige Läufe an Beliebtheit in der Jägerschaft. Dieser Trend wird durch die zunehmende Verwendung von Schalldämpfern unterstützt, insbesondere im Kaliber .308 Win.
Standardmunition ist auf gängige Lauflängen von 600 mm ausgelegt. Beim Verschießen von Standardmunition aus kurzen Läufen (420 mm bis 550 mm) zeigen sich folgende Nachteile: Energie- und Geschwindigkeitsverlust, eingeschränkte Wirksamkeit, ausgeprägtes Mündungsfeuer, lauter Mündungsknall und erhöhte Abnutzung bei Schalldämpfern.
