The legendary Lee Enfield rifle is a British bolt-action rifle that has been used by the British Army and police forces in various forms for over 100 years. The Nr. 4 MK1 variant was introduced at the beginning of World War II in 1941, as it was more efficient and easier to produce in series compared to the previous SMLE variants (Short Magazine, Lee Enfield). The SMLE rifle is considered one of the best sniper rifles of World War II, as it combines modern features such as a cheek rest and a centrally mounted scope, ensuring excellent accuracy at combat range.
Ares is now developing its own line of classic airsoft rifles.
The bolt-action rifle is now also available in the airsoft variant in caliber 6mm BB. It is a 1:1 replica of the British SMLE Nr.4 MK1 steel rifle. In this airsoft weapon, 95% of the parts are made of stainless steel with QPQ finish. The airsoft replica comes with a particularly high-quality real wood stock. The finish of the wood stock and the metal parts is almost perfectly matched to the real rifle, with a deep and varied wood grain on the rifle and a smooth gunmetal finish on the metal parts.
For the shooting system, Ares relies on a spring pressure system, which allows the air pressure rifle to achieve solid performance. To shoot, simply pull the cocking lever back like with the real weapon and then push it forward again. The air pressure rifle is now ready to fire. The magazine holds 35 6mm BBs. We recommend using a speedloader to fill the airsoft BBs. For the necessary precision, an adjustable hop-up is installed inside the airsoft weapon. This can be adjusted continuously. You can also adjust the rear sight (aperture) if needed, as it is an aperture sight with two different hole diameters. There is no thread at the front of the barrel, as no suppressor from the 1940s could dampen the power of the British .303 cartridge. Instead, the typical Lee Enfield Rifle No.4 front sight is mounted, which is protected on both sides by protective wings with circular cutouts to allow more light to hit the front sight, making it easier to see during rapid firing.
The safety lever of the air pressure weapon is located opposite the cocking lever and can only be operated when the rifle is cocked. The safety can be quickly and easily operated with the thumb from the shooting grip and is also safely operable in wet weather thanks to its textured surface. For safe transport, you can attach a carrying strap (not included) to the sling mount on the buttstock and the loop for attachment on the fore-end.
Conveniently, the metal butt plate offers a flip-open compartment for a cleaning kit or similar items.
The air pressure weapon is designed for right-handed users.

Das SMLE Gewehr gilt als eines der besten Scharfschützengewehre des Zweiten Weltkriegs, da es moderne Features wie eine Wangenauflage, ein zentral montiertes Zielfernrohr kombiniert und damit eine hervorragende Treffsicherheit auf Kampfentfernung garantiert.
Ares entwickelt nun eine eigene Reihe an klassischen Softair Gewehren.
Die Repetierbüchse gibt es daher jetzt auch in der Airsoft Variante im Kaliber 6mm BB. Es handelt sich um einen 1:1 Nachbau des britischen SMLE Nr.4 MK1 Stahlgewehrs. Bei dieser Airsoft Waffe sind außerdem 95% der Teile aus Edelstahl mit QPQ Finish gefertigt. Der Softair Nachbau kommt mit einem besonders hochwertigen Echtholz Gewehrschaft. Das Finish des Holzschaftes und der Metallteile entspricht nahezu perfekt dem echten Gewehr, mit einer tiefen und abwechslungsreichen Holzmaserung auf dem Gewehr und einem glatten Gunmetal Finish auf den Metallteilen.
Als Schusssystem setzt Ares auf ein Federdruck System, wodurch das Luftdruckgewehr eine solide Leistung erreicht. Zum Schießen ziehst du einfach wie bei der echten Waffe den Spannhebel nach hinten und schiebst ihn dann wieder nach vorne. Schon ist der das Druckluftgewehr schussbereit. Das Magazin fasst 35 6mm BB Kugeln. Zum Einfüllen der Softair Kugeln empfehlen wir dir einen Speedloader zu nutzen. Für die nötige Präzision ist im Inneren der Softair Waffe ein einstellbares Hop-Up verbaut. Dieses kann stufenlos verstellt werden. Auch die hintere Visierung (Kimme) kannst du bei Bedarf verstellen, da es sich hier um eine Lochkimme mit zwei unterschiedlich großen Lochdurchmessern handelt. Vorne am Lauf gibt es kein Gewinde, denn kein Schalldämpfer der 1940er Jahre konnte die Kraft der britischen 303er Patrone dämmen. Stattdessen ist das typische Lee Enfield Rifle No.4 Korn montiert, das auf beiden Seiten durch Schutzflügel mit kreisförmigen Aussparungen geschützt ist, damit mehr Licht auf das Korn fällt und es beim schnellen Feuern leichter zu erkennen ist.
Der Sicherungshebel der Luftdruck Waffe befindet sich gegenüberliegend vom Spannhebel und kann nur betätigt werden, wenn das Gewehr gespannt ist. Die Sicherung lässt sich schnell und einfach mit dem Daumen aus dem Schussgriff heraus betätigen und ist dank ihrer strukturierten Oberfläche auch bei nassem Wetter sicher bedienbar. Für den sicheren Transport kannst du einen Tragegurt (nicht inklusive) an dem Sling Mount am Hinterschaft und dem Bügel zur Befestigung am Vorderschaft anbringen.
Praktischerweise bietet die Schaftkappe aus Metall ein aufklappbares Fach für ein Waffen Reinigungsset oder ähnliches.
Die Druckluft Waffe ist auf Rechtshänder ausgelegt.
