This double rifle in dream condition is something special; it belonged to Major General William Rice (3-star general), one of the highest-ranking officers in India. He is mentioned in the book "Rifle," which deals with the 170 most famous big game hunters of all time, with this double rifle (Cape Gun). Not only that, he also wrote a book in 1884 about Indian Game, which I also have in the original edition. This double rifle is not only a piece of contemporary history but also a true cultural asset. Einer der ranghöchsten Offiziere in Indien. Er ist im Buch Rifle das über die 170 berühmtesten Großwildjäger aller Zeiten
handelt, erwähnt mit dieser Doppelbüchse. (Cape Gun). Nicht nur das, er schrieb auch ein Buch 1884 über Indian Game das ich auch
in der orginal Ausgabe habe. Diese Doppelbüchse ist nicht nur ein stück Zeitgeschichte sondern auch ein echtes Kulturgut.
