The SL rifle has a folding stock. On the left side, there is a mounting rail for attaching a mount. The compensator is permanently attached to the barrel, which means that with the folded stock, the minimum length of 60 cm (long gun) is exceeded.

Normally, original military magazines do not fit Saiga rifles from the factory; however, this weapon has already had a ramp installed in front of the chamber, and the magazine lever has been slightly shortened so that original military magazines fit.
