Tato tradiční série střel je nápadná odkrytou olověnou špičkou, která umožňuje řízenou deformaci střely a vysokou ranivost. Většině střel tohoto typu propůjčila firma Hornady průkopnický ogivální tvar – jeden z profilů s nejlepšími balistickými vlastnostmi vůbec.
Střela obsahuje speciální úpravu InterLock® – Na vnějším plášti střely je výstupek, který zasahuje do jádra střely a zajišťuje tak, že se při deformaci střely plášť a jádro neoddělí od sebe, a že si tak střela zachová svou hmotnost a energii.
