Tento díl je navržen zejména pro použití s předpažbími Aero Precision řady Enhanced / BAR, která vyžadují specifickou montážní matici místo standardní AR-15 barrel nut. Používá se jak na mil-spec závitovaných upperech, tak v kombinaci s Aero M4E1 systémy (u verze Enhanced upper není potřeba).
Matice je vyrobena z hliníku 7075-T6 s tvrdou anodizací a je dodávána včetně sady podložek (shim pack), které slouží k přesnému „timingu“ (zarovnání) předpažbí při montáži.
Díky své konstrukci umožňuje pevné, přesné a opakovatelné uchycení handguardu bez vůlí, přičemž je optimalizována pro montážní moment přibližně 30–45 ft-lbs.
