Určení ráže, pro které je daný protahovací trn určen, naleznete vždy na originální krabičce, ve které se trn nachází. Na výběr je z více variant.
Použití:
Na vytěrákovou tyč našroubujte protahovací trn určený pro danou ráži zbraně, kterou se chystáte vyčistit. Na protahovací trn napíchněte čistící hadřík (patch) a vsuňte jej do hlavně. Pokud je čistící hadřík od nečistot, proces čištění opakujte.
Pozn: Pokud protahovací trn s čistícím hadříkem prochází hlavní bez přiměřeného odporu, ujistěte se zda je zvolena správná velikost protahovacího trnu dle ráže vaší zbraně. Naopak není-li možné trn s čistícím hadříkem prostrčit s přiměřeným odporem, pak nejprve zkontrolujte zda je zvolena správná velikost použitého trnu, popřípadě maličko zastřihněte čistící hadřík.
