Tarvas lyijytön metsästysluoti omaa suuren pysäytysvoiman ja pienen lihahävikin. Trumpetoituva luoti on täysin lyijytön uuden sukupolven metsästysluoti. Osuessaan kohteeseen luoti muodostaa voimakkaan hydrostaattisenpaineaallon, minkä ansiosta haavakanava on syvä ja siisti. Luoti antaa jopa n. 120cm syvän haavakanavan. Haavakanavaan muodostuva suuri paine antaa suuren shokkivaikutuksen, jonka ansiosta eläimen pakomatkat jäävät entistä lyhyemmäksi.
