STAG 15 to karabinek oparty na konstrukcji M4, wyposażony w 16-calową lufę wykonaną ze stali 4150CMV z chromowanym przewodem. Lufa posiada gwintowanie 1/7 i komorę Wylde, umożliwiającą strzelanie amunicją 5,56 mm x 45 oraz .223.
Karabinek posiada lekkie, ażurowe łoże STAG Slimline z systemem montażowym M-LOK oraz szyną Picatinny po całej długości. Komora spustowa i zamkowa wykonane są z aluminium 7075-T6 i zgodne z MIL-SPEC.
STAG 15 wyposażony jest w spust Hiperfire RBT o oporze 4,5lb, obustronny bezpiecznik i rękojeść przeładowania. Zespół ruchomy wykonany jest ze stali 8620 i 9310 z chromowaniem gniazda zamka.
