A rifled-barrel air pistol in 4.5 mm caliber, designed for round steel BBs, from renowned manufacturer Baikal. A faithful replica of a firearm.
The 12 g CO2 cartridge is inserted into the frame of the original magazine, which also houses the valve assembly and holds 13 round BBs. One CO2 cartridge is enough for around 70 shots.
The trigger operates in SA/DA (Single Action / Double Action), which means you can shoot either in double-action mode or after manually cocking the hammer with your thumb or by cycling the slide.
Using original components gives the visual impression of shooting a combat pistol, but it also has other advantages, including similar handling (reloading, removing the slide, locking it in the rear position, etc.). The air pistol differs slightly from the original in barrel caliber, grip width, and the screw that presses against the CO2 cartridge.
This model is the air-powered version of the legendary Makarov pistol, chambered in 9x18 Makarow and used by the Russian militia. Made from the same components as the original. One of the main advantages of this design is how the pistol handles, as well as its highly accurate reproduction of the buttons, catches, and safety mechanisms.
